Day 1 Overnight at a hotel in the capital.
Days 2-3 Explore Mexico City, its museums and markets.
Day 4 Drive via the famous city of Puebla to Oaxaca.
Days 5,6 Visit the pre-hispanic sites of Monte Albán and Mitla.
Days 7,8 Fly to San Cristóbal de las Casas. Visit local villages.
Days 9,10 Drive to Palenque, explore this magnificent site.
Day 11 Continue to Campeche on the Gulf of Mexico.
Day 12 Drive and fly to Mérida in the Yucatán Peninsula.
Day 13 Visit Mayan site of Uxmal or wildlife at Celestún.
Day 14 Discover Chichén Itzá.
Day 15 Depart on international flight or extension.
