Combine visits to Peru's top Andean Inca and colonial sights with a few days in the remote Amazon jungle within the Manú Biosphere Reserve. Far from any other lodges and facilities for visitors this experience offers you a real insight into the rainforest, its wildlife, tropical jungle vegetation and its indigenous people. 

Crees, (“conservation, research, environmental education towards sustainability”) which organises this adventure is a charitable foundation with lofty ambitions. It all sounds rather earnest but in fact you will have a wonderful, truly unique wildlife experience where you will learn a lot but also have plenty of fun. You’ll be travelling over large distances to enter a remote part of the rainforest.

If you prefer, you can stay a day longer to travel deeper into the rainforest.

Holiday Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Lima. Overnight.
Day 2: City tour and Larco Museum
Day 3: Fly to Cusco and continue by road to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, 2n
Day 4: Visit the Inca ruins at Pisac and Ollantaytambo.
Day 5: By rail to Machu Picchu. Guided tour.Overnight nearby.
Day 6: Return to Cusco by train. 2n.
Day 7: City tour of the Inca capital and its colonial heritage.
Day 8: Drive over the Andes towards the Amazon rainforest. Overnight in cloud forest lodge.
Day 9: Continue to Manú Learning Centre, Manú Biosphere reserve.
Day 10: Excursions from the Learning Centre.
Day 11: Excursions from the Learning Centre.
Day 12: Return to Cusco.
Day 13: At leisure in Cusco.
Day 14: Fly to Lima and connect to international flight.

Owing to many clients' preference for flexibility, and the variation in flight price according to season and availability, the price quoted excludes the cost of international flights, which we will happily arrange for you. Flights to Latin America can be daytime or overnight, while the return flight is always overnight, so you will need to add at least one day to arrive at the total length of your holiday.
